Scholarship Program 2009

On Friday, October 9, 2009, Financial Investment and Consultancy Services Limited awarded the Lusca Theophilus and Bernadette Theophilus Scholarships to Alicia Jean and Kerlvy Jeffers of the Choiseul Secondary School

Ms Alicia Jean of La Fargue was selected for the Lusca Theophilus Scholarship. She gained Grade I distinctions in four subjects namely English Language, Food and Nutrition, Social Studies, and Human and Social Biology. She also attained Grade I passes in Information Technology and English Literature and two General III passes in Chemistry and Mathematics.
 
Ms Kerlvy Jeffers of Morne Jacques was selected for the Bernadette Theophilus Scholarship. She gained a Grade I pass in Electronic Document Preparation and Management and six Grade II passes in English A, Mathematics, Office Administration, Principles of Business, Principles of Accounts and Social Studies. She also attained a Grade III pass in Biology.
 
In addition, two awardees from 2008, Kiserah Phillip and Okima Annius received cheques for the second year of their programmes at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
 
Kiserah Phillip of Le Riche, the Awardee of the Lusca Theophilus Scholarship 2008, gained Grade I passes in English A, Mathematics, Biology, Information Technology, Physics, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Social Studies and Grade 2 passes in Chemistry and English B.Ms. Phillip is currently attending the Division of Arts, Science and General Studies of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College. Her subjects include Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Communication Studies.
 
Okima Annius of Caffiere, the Awardee of the Bernadette Theophilus Scholarship 2008 gained a Grade I pass in Electronic Document Preparation and Management, Grade II passes in Integrated Science, Office Administration, Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Social Studies and Grade III passes in English A and Mathematics. Ms. Annius is currently attending the Division of Technical Education and Management Studies of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College where she is pursuing a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
