On February 28, 2025, FICS Limited, the leading indigenous financial institution, recently partnered with the Babonneau Secondary School to provide the Form 5 students with hands on experience and to conduct mock job interviews in career development and preparation for the workforce. The exercise aimed to stimulate real world job interviews, giving students valuable insight into what to expect when entering the workforce.

“We are committed to giving back to our community and this partnership with the Babonneau Secondary School is a testament to that” said Katrina St Omer, Business Development Officer at FICS Limited. By providing the students with hands-on experience in job interviews, we hope to equip them with the skills and confidence required to succeed in their future careers.

The mock interviews covered various aspects of the job application process including resume building and interview etiquette. The staff members of FICS Limited provided constructive feedback and guidance to the students, helped them to refine their skills and prepared them for the workforce.

“We are grateful for the support and expertise provided by FICS Limited”, said Alice Medard, Counsellor at the Babonneau Secondary School. “This partnership has provided out students with invaluable experience and insight into the world of work”.

FICS Limited remains committed to its corporate social responsibility initiatives with an emphasis on education, community development and youth empowerment.
