Scholarship Programme
investment, loans, mortgage
In 2006, the Board of Directors of Financial Investment and Consultancy Services Limited agreed to provide two scholarships to students of the Choiseul Secondary School who have attained the highest marks in the CXC Examination results. To qualify for these scholarships, a student should either reside in the community of Choiseul or originate from Caffiere, Choiseul.
The two scholarships are named after Lusca Theophilus and Bernadette Theophilus. Lusca Theophilus, now deceased, was the co-founder of Financial Investment and Consultancy Services Limited. The Lusca Theophilus Scholarship is named after Lusca Theophilus in recognition of her sterling contribution to education in Choiseul and St Lucia generally.
The Bernadette Theophilus Scholarship is intended for students from Caffiere exclusively in recognition of the role of the Caffiere community in the personal development of Bernadette Theophilus, the mother of George Theophilus. These two scholarships cover students’ tuition fees, uniforms, books and transportation.
Additionally in the year 2015, the Board of Directors of Financial Investment and Consultancy Services Limited agreed to award one scholarship to a student of the Babonneau Secondary School who attained the highest marks in the CXC Examination results. This scholarship was named the “Peter Joseph Scholarship” in acknowledgement of the contribution of Mr Peter Joseph to education in Babonneau. To qualify for this scholarship, the student should reside in the Babonneau community.
